Amy Cavanaugh
For over a decade Amy Cavanaugh has been the Executive Director at Maryland Art Place (MAP), a 41 year old not for profit serving living, visual artists located in Baltimore City. Two years after taking the helm Cavanaugh steered MAP back to its original home, a 20,000 square foot building located just within Baltimore’s west side; the now the Bromo Arts and Entertainment District. Prior to her work at MAP, Amy was the Vice President and COO of ARCH Development Corporation in Washington, DC where she co-founded Honfleur Gallery, a contemporary art space in Historic Anacostia. Amy is an accomplished cellist, alumni of the Catholic University of America and the Chair of the Board for the Bromo Arts District in Baltimore city.
Kate Taylor Davis
Kate has been the Executive Director at the Pyramid Atlantic Art Center since 2017. One of her favorite responsibilities is overseeing its exhibition programming. In addition to her curatorial work at Pyramid, she has crafted seasons and juried shows for other art centers including Honfleur Gallery and Anacostia Arts Center while in her past role as Vice President of ARCH Development Corporation. Kate has served on panels for the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities, Prince George’s Arts and Humanities Council, and Arlington County Cultural Affairs. Since the early 2000s she has also produced off-beat art events and exhibitions around the DC Area.
Cory Oberndorfer
Cory Oberndorfer has been exhibited nationally, including Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana, CA, Redux Contemporary Art Center and 4th Wall in Charleston, SC, Kayo Gallery in Salt Lake City, UT, VisArts in Rockville, MD, and Flashpoint Gallery, G Fine Art, and the Katzen Arts Center in Washington, D.C. He has completed residencies in Charleston, SC, Johnson, VT, and Ålvik, Norway. Cory earned his MFA at American University and BFA at Weber State University. He has earned multiple Fellowships and Individual Artist grants from Washington, DC, and Montgomery County.
